NTxBio establishes biomanufacturing facility in Plano creating over 170 jobs

Governor Greg Abbott has announced that NTxBio will set up a biomanufacturing facility in Plano, Texas. This initiative is expected to create over 170 jobs and bring more than $31 million in capital investment to the area. The Texas Enterprise Fund has granted $1,479,000 to support this development.

Governor Abbott remarked, “Texas is the epicenter for groundbreaking, life-saving medical research and home to thousands of biotech and life science firms.” He added that the investment would contribute significantly to Texas’ skilled workforce in the life sciences sector.

NTxBio was established in 2015 and focuses on manufacturing pharmaceutical-grade raw materials used in RNA and protein therapeutics.
