Frisco Announces Memorial Day Closures and Service Adjustments, Trash Pickup Delayed by One Day

As per the customary annual tradition, the city has announced adjusted hours and closures for various city services in recognition of Memorial Day, which will be commemorated on the last Monday of May. The City of Frisco has confirmed that all administrative government offices, including City Hall, the Municipal Court, and other non-essential services, will suspend operations on May 26.

The routine collection of recycling, trash, and yard waste will also experience a shift in schedule. Residents should expect to see their curbside services delayed by one day throughout the week. In a statement released on the city’s official website, it was detailed that “if your service day is usually Monday, your refuse will be collected will be on May 27. If your service day is Tuesday, your refuse will be collected on Wednesday, May 28,” with normal service resuming on June 2. Additionally, the Environmental Collection Center and Environmental Services Offices will close on May 26, with the HHW and electronic recycling drop-off remaining closed until May 28. Frisco’s Fire Safety Town and the central fire administrative offices will also halt services for Memorial Day.
