The city of Allen reported that 950 vehicles participated in the 2025 Great American Cleanup on Saturday, April 26. City officials said an estimated 65,738 pounds of materials were collected for recycling and donation.
The event was held at the Allen Municipal Service Center, 900 S. Greenville Ave. Residents dropped off electronics, documents for shredding, cardboard, unused medication, pet supplies, bicycles, household goods and shoes.
