In recognition of Independence Day festivities this year, the City of Frisco has announced special holiday hours for city-run services and facilities. According to the City of Frisco, the annual Frisco Freedom Fest is set to take place on July 3 and 4, prompting closures across various city departments.
All administrative offices, including City Hall and the Municipal Court, will be closed on Friday, with normal operations resuming the following Monday. Recycling and trash curbside collection services will not run on Independence Day; however, collections are shifted to Saturday, July 5, for those residents typically serviced on Fridays. The Environmental Services offices and the Environmental Collection Center will also shut down on July 4, cautioning residents against illegal dumping in the absence of an attendant.
Frisco’s commitment to public safety during the holiday extends to Fire Safety Town and Central Fire Administrative Offices, as they too will close their doors on the Fourth. The Frisco Public Library will also take a break on July 4 but intends to welcome back the community starting at 9 a.m. the next day. Drive-thru book return remains accessible throughout the holiday, offering a 24/7 service for literature lovers…
