Delta County, TX – Deputies arrested 17-year-old Malachi Gabriel Redwine of Pecan Gap on Saturday, July 19, 2025, following a reported family disturbance, according to the Delta County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 1800 block of FM 1532 for a disturbance in progress. According to the affidavit, Redwine allegedly became upset and argued with his cousin before physically attacking him. The report states Redwine grabbed the cousin by the neck and forced him to the ground, leaving a visible scratch on the left cheek. Redwine reportedly showed no visible injuries and declined to give a statement regarding the incident.
