Plano West’s Eric Wang was introduced to the National Youth Orchestra when he was a freshman, calling it the most “coordinated youth ensemble I had ever heard.”
Wang, who plays viola, is now a member of that ensemble as the orchestra began its tour of Asia on July 5, lasting until Aug. 7. The tour includes the orchestra’s debut in Japan.
