It’s official: two of the largest Realtor associations in North Texas have voted to merge, creating a unified organization representing nearly 40,000 real estate professionals.
Members of the Collin County Area Realtors (CCAR) and the MetroTex Association of Realtors approved the proposed consolidation that’s been in the works since early this year. The merger now positions the newly combined association as the largest in North Texas — and one of the most influential Realtor associations in the country.
“We’re not just merging boards; we’re amplifying our voice,” said MetroTex President Johnny Mowad in a statement. “Together, MetroTex and CCAR will form one of the strongest real estate networks in the country.”…
