Train Day connects past to present

The Choo Choo Express’ conductor offers rides to visitors of all ages during the second annual Train Day Saturday, July 26. The trackless train’s route began near the former location of Sachse’s original train depot and traveled to the Sachse Caboose.

The Sachse Historical Society engineered a full day of fun for their second annual Train Day Saturday, July 26.

Beginning at 10 a.m., visitors received a map at whichever “depot” was their first stop. Once the map was stamped at the Sachse Caboose, the Historical Society Museum and the Community Center, it could be turned in for a prize.
