Rockwall, TX (August 1, 2025) – Groundbreaking for the Rockwall County Courthouse Annex occurred on June 11, 2024, and the new facility is set to open to the public on Monday, August 4th. This building will centralize essential county functions, providing services such as voting, veteran assistance, indigent health services, and building permitting.
The Election Office will offer various services, including voter registration and renewal, ballot-by-mail options, and early and election day voting. Rockwall County Elections Administrator Christopher Lynch highlights that the next local election will begin on October 20th, with voting taking place in the Annex’s multipurpose room rather than at the County Library.
