GREENVILLE, TX — A months‑long joint investigation by the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office and the Greenville Police Department resulted in a major narcotics bust and the arrest of Bailey Ferguson, age 28, on August 6, 2025.
Investigators obtained a search warrant stemming from a probe launched in March 2025 into suspected drug trafficking. The warrant was executed at a residence in the 1900 block of FM 499 in Greenville. According to investigators, the search yielded the following:
- ~260 grams of cocaine
- ~1.3 kilograms of counterfeit pills containing methamphetamine
- ~136 grams of psilocybin mushrooms
- ~2.5 pounds of marijuana
- 3 firearms
- A large amount of cash
Ferguson was taken into custody and booked on multiple felony charges, including:
- Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Penalty Groups 1 & 2)
- Possession of Marijuana (over 4 oz but under 5 lbs)
- Money Laundering (over $30,000)
