After more than a century of dominating the Midwest and East Coast, White Castle is finally sliding into Texas. The chain’s first-ever location in the state is set to open in summer 2026 at Grandscape in The Colony.
Founded in 1921 in Wichita, Kansas, White Castle is widely regarded as America’s original fast-food hamburger chain. Now, more than 100 years later, Texans will finally be able to enjoy the iconic sliders without leaving the state.
The upcoming location will feature the brand’s beloved menu, starting with the Original Slider—a small, square burger steamed on a bed of onions and topped with pickles, with optional cheese. Also on the menu are the Crispy Chicken Slider, Panko Breaded Fish Slider, and Breakfast Sliders served 24/7 with fresh-cracked eggs.
