Plano’s barbecue scene is about to get a serious upgrade. Yearby’s Barbecue & Waterice, one of Texas Monthly’sTop 50 barbecue joints, is leaving its cozy home in Pilot Point and setting up shop down the road in Plano near U.S. Highway 75 and Parker Road this fall.
After two and a half years serving Pilot Point, Yearby’s announced the move with a heartfelt message to loyal customers.
“As we close the doors to our little barbecue joint here in Pilot Point for the last time, we are filled with a deep, overwhelming sense of gratitude,” a social media post read. “What began as a dream smoke, fire, flavor and heart found its home in this incredible town, and that’s because of you.”
