The State Fair of Texas might be a Dallas tradition, but this fall, McKinney gets its own slice of fried, festive fun. From Sept. 26 through Oct. 19, Stix Icehouse will host The Big Texperience, a State Fair pop-up packed with food, drinks and family-friendly entertainment.
Fair Fun, Stix Style
Forget the parking lots and long lines at Fair Park, Stix is serving up the flavors you crave closer to home. Their limited-time menu includes funnel cake fries, footlong corn dogs, deep-fried hot dogs and donuts and even a Funnel Cake Ale. It’s all the fried nostalgia you’d expect, paired with a little McKinney flair.
The Big Texperience is designed as a full-on event series. Guests can look forward to face painting, balloon animals, photo ops, live music and outdoor movies. Every weekend offers something new, making it a go-to spot whether you’re planning a family outing, date night, or a casual hangout with friends.
