Hopkins County, TX – On Wednesday evening, September 10, 2025, officers with the Sulphur Springs Police Department arrested Samantha Grace Norman, 25, at Walmart on Broadway Street following a theft investigation that led to additional drug charges.
Walmart asset protection staff observed Norman allegedly passing the final point of sale without paying for multiple items. Officers responded at approximately 8:28 PM. The total amount of merchandise was reported to be $274.32.
After detaining Norman, officers conducted a probable cause search of her purse. During the search, they discovered a vape container containing suspected marijuana, two THC vape pens, and a black container holding multiple white and blue pills.
