The DFW community is heating the fall up with the “Rooted In Rhythm” concert experience on October 18th, 2025, from 2 PM to 10 PM at District 121 in McKinney, Texas. The North Dallas-area event shines a spotlight on emerging artists in the country music scene, featuring an incredible lineup that includes headliner and Red Bull Records artist Pynk Beard, along with Maurice The Music, Amira Unplugged, Elsie, The Kentucky Gentlemen, Valerie Ponzio, Squeezebox Bandits, Adrian Garza, and more.
Adding an extra layer of artistry to the day, Wade College student Olivia Clark will be creating live art on-site, bringing a dynamic visual element to the festival. While the music takes center stage, Rooted In Rhythm sets itself apart by embracing all forms of creativity, underscoring the power of the arts to bring communities together. “This event is a true celebration of community and the arts, where we come together to appreciate the varied talents that enrich our lives,” says Bridgette Jones, Executive Director of the Millennial Maven Creative Foundation.
The showcase is backed by an impressive lineup of sponsors including Credit Union of Texas, Red Bull, Lane Boots, McKinney Community Development Corporation, Still Austin, The Guitar Sanctuary, Gibson Guitars, Teleport Watches, and Mur Mur, with community support from Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce, Dallas Nomad, Dallas Weekly, and Brownstyle Magazine.
With ticket prices starting at $40 (and $100 for a family of four), the event keeps things accessible for all ages. Families can dive into a vibrant atmosphere complete with a kid zone hosted by the YMCA of McKinney, while those looking for an elevated experience can hop on the Rodeo Party Bus. For $65, guests can kick off their day with drinks, breakfast, and a curated shopping stop at Lane Boots and Rancher Hat Bar before the music begins…
