Sacramento-based Pizza Guys is slicing into the Texas market with the grand opening of its 100th location in Plano. The milestone event, marking the company’s first restaurant in the state, will take place on Oct. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 9613 Coit Road.
A New Slice For Texas
Founded in 1986, Pizza Guys built a loyal following across California and Nevada for its handcrafted specialty pizzas, fresh dough and premium ingredients. Now, the brand is celebrating both a century mark and its expansion into the Lone Star State.
“Reaching our 100th location and opening in Texas is a proud moment for Pizza Guys,” Shahpour Nejad, CEO and founder of Pizza Guys, said in a release shared by Pizza Marketplace. “Plano is the perfect place to start this new chapter and Ramandeep and Ranjeet are the ideal local partners to represent our brand. Their integrity, experience and dedication to quality make them a great fit for the community.”
The Plano restaurant will be operated by husband-and-wife duo Ramandeep (Raman) Singh and Ranjeet Klair. “When we decided to open a Pizza Guys in Plano, it wasn’t just about bringing another pizza restaurant to town,” Klair said. “It was about becoming part of a community that values quality, hospitality and family — just like we do.”
Grand Opening Celebration
To mark the occasion, Pizza Guys is hosting a ribbon-cutting at 9:30 a.m., followed by a public celebration. The first 25 guests in line will receive a free large pizza and a chance to win free pizza for a year. Attendees can also spin the prize wheel, enjoy giveaways and sample some of the brand’s signature recipes…
