Greenville Files Lawsuit Over Improper Chemical Storage on Private Property

GREENVILLE, TX — In a decisive move to uphold public safety and environmental integrity, the City of Greenville has filed a civil lawsuit in Hunt County District Court against the owner of a rural plot just outside the city’s boundaries.

The legal action follows citizen reports that led the city, in partnership with the Hunt County Homeland Security & Fire Marshal’s Office, to investigate the site.
