Dirk Nowitzki-backed brewery opens new location

Rollertown Beerworks opened its headquarters in downtown Frisco this past weekend.

The brewery is financially backed by former Dallas Maverick Dirk Nowitzki, Texas Ranger Michael Young, Dallas Cowboy Travis Frederick, Minnesota Twins’ Torii Hunter and Texas A&M content creator group Dude Perfect. It also formerly had a location in Celina, which closed its doors on October 11 due to rising rent costs.

According to the Dallas Business Journal, the $12 million facility is 50,000 square feet and includes a production facility, two-story taproom and beer garden, as well as a lawn and entertainment space at 6450 Main St in Frisco. The Brewery opens in the midst of a $69 million project to transform downtown Frisco’s Rail District, making it more of a destination for visitors and residents with modern amenities and attractions while preserving its historic charm…
