MCKINNEY — Plano East senior Abdullhi Mahdi posted an interception in the end zone with 1:16 left in the fourth quarter, and senior quarterback Jackson Howard clinched a 20-13 win over McKinney after he ran for a first down that allowed the Panthers to run out the remaining time on the game clock.
After McKinney kicked a field goal to open the scoring, Plano East responded with two touchdowns — a 10-yard run by freshman running back Treyce Seldon and a 2-yard burst by Howard — to give the Panthers a 14-3 lead in the second quarter…
