A Frisco man was sentenced to the maximum 20 years in prison for stalking a Collin County woman in 2024, authorities announced.
Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis said Robert Bevers, 40, had also targeted four other women dating back to 2016. Evidence presented at a two-day punishment hearing showed Bevers repeatedly harassed women he had never met, sending unwanted messages, gifts and making repeated in-person contacts.
The stalking case began in 2022 when a 27-year-old Frisco woman found unsolicited gifts left on her porch and captured Bevers’s car circling her home on surveillance cameras.
