Celina ISD is preparing for its next major wave of growth, and community members now have the chance to help shape that future.
Following the approval of a $2.3 billion bond earlier this year, the district is moving forward with three new elementary schools and is asking residents to weigh in on what those campuses should be called.
Naming Three New Campuses
The district opened the nomination process for naming Elementary School No. 6 in the Uptown subdivision, Elementary School No. 7 in Green Meadows and Elementary School No. 8 in the Ramble neighborhood. Students, families, staff and Celina residents are all invited to submit suggestions through an online Facility Naming Form. Nominations will remain open through Dec. 5, 2025.
District leaders say community participation is essential, noting that campus names help build identity and reflect local values.
