On December 8, 2025, the Princeton City Council in Texas approved a land proposal and design contract for a new Public Safety Building. The facility will be located at Corporate Drive and Myrick Lane. This project is part of the city’s infrastructure planning as Princeton grows.
The Council selected Brinkley Sargent Wiginton Architects, Inc. for the architectural and design contract. The city allocated up to $4,243,022 for architectural, engineering, and design services for the project.
The new Public Safety Building will house the Princeton Police Department and the Fire Department Administration. Police Chief James Waters said the facility will provide officers with more space, updated technology, and resources.
