If you’re planning to cruise along Interstate 30 or hit FM 548 this coming week, prepare for some delays. According to the Rockwall County website, there will be lane closures and construction activities that might add a few extra minutes to your commute.
First on the list, the I-30 Eastbound Frontage Road stretching from Circle Dr. to Erby Campbell will undergo a flagging operation starting on Friday, December 12, until Saturday, December 13. Activities will include the installation of temporary pavement marking, and it’s all happening overnight from 9 PM to 5 AM.
Come Monday, December 15, through Saturday, December 20, it’s FM 548’s turn. Both northbound and southbound stretches near Pond Branch will face a flagging operation from 9 AM to 3 PM.
