Dallas and Mesquite police departments are in the midst of an investigation following a tragic double murder-suicide that unfolded last week. According to the Dallas Police Department, last Thursday, officers responded to a shooting call at approximately 2:40 p.m. in the 15800 block of El Estado Drive. The violence claimed the lives of two individuals: 24-year-old Arlina Sander, who died at the scene, and 27-year-old Darvilease Washington, who succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital, as per FOX4 News.
Detectives swiftly identified a suspect in connection with the killings as well as a vehicle linked to the suspect, registered in the city of Mesquite. While Dallas detectives were diligently preparing an arrest warrant, they were notified by the Mesquite Police Department of a shooting in their jurisdiction, CBS News reported.
