If you’re like me and always thought of Chuck E. Cheese as a safe space, think again. Seriously, every time I’ve ever been there, everyone seemed as happy as they could be. I never thought I would see a full-on brawl at one. But here we are.
Then again, after reading a thread on Reddit about the fight that broke out at the Chuck E. Cheese off Preston and Park in Plano over the weekend, it sounds like it’s a common occurrence, and it makes a lot of sense.

Reddit Says Chuck E. Cheese Fights Happen More Than You’d Think
One of the folks commenting on the thread said they worked at one, and the cops would be called out to it about once a month. In many cases, fights would break out between exes while they were gathered for a child’s birthday party. According to another person commenting on the thread, last weekend’s brawl was the result of “baby momma drama.”
Armed with that information, I’ll be a little more vigilant the next time I pay a visit to Carles E. Cheese’s place. If I notice a situation starting to get heated, I will find my way out of there. Life’s too short to get caught up in a massive brawl like the one in the video below – especially if it’s over someone else’s kid. I have my hands full with my own kids…
