SHERMAN, Texas — A 20-year-old Dallas man has been sentenced to federal prison for a violent crime spree in the Eastern District of Texas, according to U.S. Attorney Jay R. Combs. Victor Heredia pleaded guilty to two counts of Hobbs Act robbery and received a 78-month sentence from U.S. District Judge Michael J. Truncale on January 5, 2026.
Heredia’s crime spree began on November 6, 2023, when he robbed a 7-Eleven convenience store on N. Josey Lane in Carrollton, discharging a firearm into the ceiling during the incident.
