An elevated American restaurant known for bold flavors and an interactive bar experience is making its Texas debut in McKinney. Oak & Stone will open its first-ever Texas location in Spring 2026, bringing its signature self-pour tap wall, made-from-scratch menu and hospitality-driven approach to North Texas.
A Florida Favorite Expands To North Texas
Founded in Florida as part of Artistry Restaurants, Oak & Stone was built on the idea that dining should feel experiential rather than transactional. With eight locations across Florida, the McKinney opening marks the brand’s first expansion outside the Southeast.
The Texas debut is intentionally community-focused. The McKinney location plans to partner with North Texas vendors for select ingredients and collaborate with local breweries and distilleries, creating menu elements and drink offerings that feel rooted in the region.
The Self-Pour Experience At The Center
At the heart of Oak & Stone’s concept is its signature self-pour tap wall. After checking in with a team member, guests receive a tap card that allows them to explore approximately 50 rotating taps featuring craft beer, wine, bourbon, whiskey, cocktails and an expanding selection of zero-proof options.
Guests can sample small pours or enjoy full glasses, with tasting notes and guidance from Tap Guides who help turn the experience into a social, exploratory part of the meal.
What’s On The Menu
Oak & Stone’s menu focuses on elevated comfort food with bold, familiar flavors. Popular items include artisan pizzas such as The Farmer & Pig, topped with imported prosciutto, arugula, mozzarella, hot honey and shaved pecorino romano, along with wings, Philly cheesesteak eggrolls, pretzel-crusted tuna sashimi and the voodoo chicken sandwich. Seasonal and limited-time offerings rotate throughout the year.
A Space Designed For Gathering
The approximately 6,000-square-foot McKinney restaurant will seat around 200 guests and is designed to feel warm, energetic, and lived-in. Open layouts encourage conversation and exploration, while layered materials and thoughtful textures give the space an approachable, welcoming feel. The atmosphere is intended to transition seamlessly from daytime brunch to relaxed late-night dining…
