ROYSE CITY, TX – A standoff along Interstate 30 ended without injuries Monday morning after state troopers and local officers took a driver into custody near Royse City.
According to authorities, Texas Department of Public Safety troopers were pursuing a vehicle traveling westbound through Hunt County on IH-30 on January 19th. Royse City Police Department assisted during the pursuit.
The suspect vehicle came to a stop on westbound IH-30 at FM 2642, near the Buc-ee’s travel center. After stopping, the driver refused to exit the vehicle and ignored repeated commands from troopers and officers…
