Allen Becomes Hub For Texas Entrepreneurs In 2026

Allen will take center stage for Texas entrepreneurship this year after being selected as one of the host cities for the 2026 Governor’s Small Business Summit, a statewide initiative designed to support small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Announced by Governor Greg Abbott, the program will bring a series of summits to communities across Texas throughout 2026, connecting local businesses with the tools, resources and relationships needed to grow and succeed.

A Statewide Focus On Small Business Growth

The Governor’s Small Business Summits are built around one clear goal: helping Texas small businesses start strong and scale sustainably. I congratulate the communities selected to host a Governor’s Small Business Summit and encourage small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to participate. By connecting Texans with the tools, resources, and partnerships they need to grow their businesses, we will spur continued economic expansion across every region.”
