Plano Police Assistant Chief Dan Curtis announced his retirement after 35 years with the department.

With over 37 years of experience in law enforcement, Curtis began his career with the Waco Police Department. After serving as a reserve officer with the Royse City Police Department, he joined the Plano Police Department in October 1990.
