During its Jan. 28 meeting, the Allen City Council approved a grant to support a gun violence reduction initiative and took action on several zoning and administrative matters.
First, the council authorized the city manager to apply for, accept, reject, alter or terminate a $170,000 grant from the governor’s office to fund a Violent Gang Gun Reduction Program.
