Two separate criminal cases lead to sentencing of two men in Grayson County

SHERMAN, Texas (KXII) – Two north Texas men were sentenced for serious crimes.

47-year-old Carmelo Ramos from Sherman was arrested in 2024 for sexual assault of a child. He was sentenced to fifteen years in prison.

Grayson County District Attorney John Kermit Hill says Ramos also faced a previous charge from 2023 for possession of meth, ultimately pleading guilty and sentenced to two additional years. He says Ramos is currently being held by ICE agents…
