Wylie senior, Bekah Mansur, recently got her pilot’s license at the age of 17. I interviewed her to learn about how she became interested in becoming a pilot and how she went about getting her license.
When did you decide you wanted to be a pilot? “A couple of years ago because my dad got his pilot’s license, and I love traveling.”
What training was involved to get your license? “I took a 3 week long summer camp with no flight experience. My flight instructor was Alex Nichols. Afterwards, I rented a plane and would practice flying in it for a couple of months until I got my pilot’s license on January 20.”…
