FRISCO, Texas — The Taylor Sheridan Universe is coming to Frisco. Now we know a little bit more about what it will look like.
Frisco Mayor Jeff Cheney posted an update last week about the latest Sheridan-produced show, “Frisco King,” a spinoff of his Sylvester Stallone-starring “Tulsa King.” In the North Texas version, Samuel L. Jackson will take the leading role.
Cheney said the show will start filming in Frisco later this month. The premise, according to Cheney’s talks with producers, is a “‘fish out of water’ comedy where Jackson’s character gives up his NOLA roots” to start fresh in a “modern day Mayberry.”…
