HOSA collected 74 pints of blood through Carter Blood Care on Thursday, March 5. In total, the two drives — including this one and the one on Nov. 13 — were able to collect 161 pints of blood this year from Prosper HS, saving 483 lives.
“Our students really enjoy this day and it’s probably my favorite day of the year,” HOSA sponsor, pharmacology teacher Kelli Factor said. “I get to meet new students that I haven’t met before, we get to work as a team and show off our skills and we overall have a great time.”
