SAN ANTONIO — West Brook’s reign as Class 5A-I state basketball champion has ended with a loss to Frisco Heritage at the Alamodome.
Heritage is the new state champion after defeating the Bruins 60-47 in Saturday’s title game. Duke commit Bryson Howard finished with a game-high 28 points for Heritage as the Bruins struggled to contain the star guard.
The loss ends West Brook’s run of 25 straight wins. The Bruins were looking to become back-to-back state champions for the first time in school history…
