Transit officials explore rail link between Plano, McKinney

Transportation leaders in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex approved a study March 12 that could lead to a new rail connection between Plano and McKinney.

The Regional Transportation Council (RTC) operates under the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG), and the study is part of its Transit 2.0 initiative, which aims to create a more efficient public transit system across North Texas.
