Jasper To Hire Toby Forman As New Head Coach

When Kendrick Crumedy announced that, he was leaving Jasper after four years as the Jasper Head Coach and Athletic Director, the search for his replacement began immediately. A search firm was hired and resumes began to come in. After interviews with the top candidates, the Jasper Independent School District School board is set to name the district’s new Head Coach and Athletic Director at a special call meeting on Tuesday night. Unnamed, but reliable sources have confirmed that Toby Forman will be the new man heading up Jasper’s athletic program.

Forman is currently the head coach at Killeen Shoemaker High School, but he has deep Southeast Texas roots. Back in 2012, Forman was the offensive coordinator at West Orange-Stark High School then he became the Head Coach at Beaumont Central High School before moving to Shoemaker. The Grey Wolves were coming off an 0 and 10 season and Forman turned the Wolves into a perineal playoff team in one of the toughest 6A districts in Texas.

Forman began his coaching career with one-year stints in La Marque and Texarkana before being hired at West Orange-Stark. He has applied for the Jasper coaching position before and this time he is the district’s selection for the position…
