McKinney School Owner Turns Diaper Drive Into Lifeline For Local Families

While most business owners measure success in spreadsheets and growth, Robbin Wells measures it in boxes of diapers. Wells, the owner of The Goddard School of McKinney – Craig Ranch and The Goddard School of McKinney – University Drive, recently led a massive regional effort that delivered more than 42,000 diapers to local families in need.

By mobilizing a network of more than 25 schools across the North Texas area, Robbin has transformed a local franchise into a powerful community engine. The annual drive provides a critical supply of essentials to the Baby Booties Diaper Bank and the Junior League of Fort Worth, addressing a gap in social services that many families face in silence.

“There’s a common misconception that Collin County, often seen as an affluent community, doesn’t have families in need of essentials like diapers,” Robbin told Local Profile. ”Each year of our diaper drive has shown that local demand continues to grow.”
