The City of Frisco will test its CodeRED emergency alert system at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 2, as part of a statewide drill organized by the Texas Division of Emergency Management. The test message will clearly state that itβs only a test and no action is needed.
Residents and businesses may receive more than one alert between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., depending on their location. Before the test, the city encourages everyone to confirm or update their CodeRED registration at FriscoTexas.gov/CodeRED or by downloading the CodeRED app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
