Shots Fired As Police Break Up Massive Party With Over 800 People At Airbnb

In Celina, Texas, a party at an Airbnb rental turned chaotic as police broke up a gathering of up to 800 teens and young adults. Shots were fired, but fortunately, no injuries were reported. The event, held at a property in the 800 block of Choate Parkway, was advertised on social media, drawing a massive crowd.

According to Celina Police Chief John Cullison, the partygoers, aged 15 to 25, came from various parts of the metroplex. Officers arrested a minor for DUI and another individual on an active aggravated assault warrant. As the crowd dispersed, multiple gunshots were heard, prompting officers to search the home, where they found damage and bloodstained sheets.

The property owner, Kishore Karlapudi, expressed shock at the extent of the damage. He told KDFI that the renters booked the home under false pretenses, claiming it was for a small gathering. Instead, the furniture was moved to create a dance floor, and fixtures were broken…
