As the third owners of Zin Zen Wine Bistro in McKinney’s Adriatica Village, Randy and Regina Reed were longtime patrons before purchasing the establishment in 2015—which they said gave them firsthand insight into the value of preserving what guests already cherished.
“What we heard a lot from customers was, “You’re not going to change the ambiance. You’re not going to change the menu.” So we’ve tried to keep what Zin Zen has always been about,” Regina Reed said. “Even when we had a flood two years ago and had to throw out the furniture, customers said “You’re going to get couches, right?” I said, ‘Yes, I’m going to take care of you.’”…
