A new indoor play concept designed around sand, imagination and hands-on creativity is heading to Plano. Diggers Cove is preparing to open this summer, bringing what it describes as an indoor sand playground experience for children ages 1 to 10.
The upcoming play space will be located at 7224 Independence Parkway, Suite 238, near the intersection of Independence Parkway and Legacy Drive.
A Different Kind Of Indoor Playground
Unlike traditional indoor play centers focused on climbing structures or arcade games, Diggers Cove centers around large indoor sand play areas designed to encourage digging, building, sensory exploration and imaginative play.
According to the company’s website, the playground will feature silica-free sand sourced from the Bahamas, along with construction-themed tools, ride-on excavators and interactive digging stations.
