MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Advocacy groups representing bus riders in Memphis are raising serious concerns about the Memphis Area Transit Authority (MATA), saying conditions for riders are worsening and demanding immediate changes.
Members of Citizens for Better Service and the Memphis Bus Riders Union met with the mayor this week to highlight what they describe as ongoing issues with reliability, safety, and transparency within the transit system.
