MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Frayser resident said minutes after she pulled her vehicle into her carport Tuesday afternoon, a burglar was caught on camera creeping and crawling next to her house and leaving with a $250 lawnmower.
The homeowner, who wished to remain anonymous, said she didn’t check her camera footage until the next day when she noticed the lawnmower was gone and was alarmed by what she saw.
“Someone came in my yard after I had just walked in the house, a child, and stole my lawnmower right in front of my camera; this is sad. I really don’t feel safe in Memphis at all,” she said.
She said the theft on Coventry Drive happened in broad daylight. The young thief did his best to avoid the camera and appeared to know exactly what he was looking for…
