Woman accused of hitting boyfriend with car, threatening him with gun

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman accused of hitting her boyfriend with her car before pulling a gun out, threatening to kill him, is now in jail.

Candy Thomas, 42, is charged with attempted first-degree murder, domestic assault-bodily harm, and aggravated assault.

On May 31, a little after 11 a.m., officers say they responded to an aggravated assault/domestic violence call in the 100 block of North Manassas Street at the Manassas Market and Deli.

The victim told police that his girlfriend followed him to that location and attempted to strike him with her vehicle twice, knocking him to the ground…
