Online sports betting surges for Oaklawn, Southland as Saracen declines

Online sports betting activity increased sharply for two of Arkansas’ casinos over the past year, while a third saw its online wagering totals drop significantly.

According to the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration’s monthly gaming report, Oaklawn Casino Resort in Hot Springs handled approximately $52 million in online sports wagers during April. That’s up from roughly $14 million during the same month in 2025.
