Some storms are expected Saturday evening

We are looking at a marginal risk for Lee County, Crittenden county, and further north in Arkansas Northern counties in Mississippi from Northern Tunica county out to Alcorn County. Shelby County, Fayette, Hardeman, and McNairy Counties in that marginal risk.

NE Arkasnsas in a Slight risk and Northern and Northwestern Tennessee in a Slight risk.

The main threat is a wind threat along with flash flooding. We saw the damage done due to flash flooding in yesterdays storms in Shelby county, so any additional rainfall will add to those issues. With the ground already soggy and many trees and limbs fallen from Friday evening storm, this evenings wind threat is likely to cause more tree damage in the midsouth.

Stay weather aware as we head into this afternoon and tune into The Weather Experts for all the updates! Timing expected as early as 4pm-10pm with a second round after midnight and through Sunday morning…
