Tree crashes into Whitehaven home during Saturday storms

One of those affected was Whitehaven resident Yvonne Reeves, whose home on Byron Drive was struck by a large tree during the storm.

Reeves said she was watching television as the storms moved through when she suddenly heard a loud thump, followed by the sound of breaking glass.
