‘He was just full of life’: Girlfriend of missing man makes plea for help

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Destiney Childs believes that someone has information about the disappearance of her boyfriend, who has been missing now for nearly two weeks.

David Marsh Jr., 28, who goes by DJ, was last seen in Olive Branch, Mississippi, on May 29, where he had been working a construction job.

Childs was the last one to speak to him over the phone that night, and she said everything seemed fine.

“It was like, hey, how’s your day been? Things like that,” said Childs. “It was, I love you and see you Monday.”

But on Monday, she received a call from someone who told her Marsh’s abandoned car had been found in Lonoke County, in central Arkansas, with a flat tire.

“I was told they found it in the middle of nowhere in a cornfield,” Childs said. ” I was crying, you know, just like a normal girlfriend would be worried, you know, hurt, don’t know what’s going on, confused.”…
